Your Privacy Choices

🔒 Reaction Privacy

You decide who sees your reactions. Spreshn offers three privacy tiers that you can change at any time:

• Private — Only you and the person who sent you the video can see your reaction. The video is stored temporarily for delivery, then removed from our servers.
• Mutual Friends — Visible to you, the sender, and your mutual friends.
• Public — Visible to anyone. Stored on our servers as long as you keep this setting active.

You can also delete any reaction directly from your chat at any time.

📷 Camera & Microphone

Your camera and microphone are never accessed in the background. They activate only when you choose to record a reaction to a video that has been shared with you. Every recording is initiated by you — Spreshn never records without your knowledge or consent.

You can revoke camera and microphone access at any time in your device's system settings.

👤 Contacts

Spreshn can optionally access your contacts to help you find friends on the platform. This permission is entirely optional — the app works fully without it.

If you grant access, your contacts are used solely for friend-finding and are not stored on our servers or shared with any third parties. You can revoke this permission at any time.

🔔 Notifications

You control exactly which notifications you receive. Each notification type can be toggled independently:

• New Reactions — When someone reacts to a video you shared
• New Drops — When someone shares a new video with you
• Messages — Chat message notifications

You can also disable all notifications entirely through your device's system settings.

💾 Auto-Save to Camera Roll

You can choose whether merged videos (your reaction combined with the original video) are automatically saved to your device's camera roll. This setting is off by default — you opt in only if you want it.

✏️ Profile Information

You control the personal information displayed on your profile:

• Display name — Update or change at any time
• Phone number — Optional; add or remove at any time
• Profile photo — Optional; upload, change, or remove at any time

🗑️ Account Deletion

You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Once deleted, your profile, reactions, and any stored content are permanently removed from our servers.
