Spreshn ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Decentration. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Spreshn mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Authentication credentials

Camera & Microphone

Spreshn uses your device's camera and microphone only during active video playback to capture your reaction. Your camera is never accessed in the background or without your knowledge. Recordings are initiated only when you watch a video that has been shared with you.

Contacts

With your explicit permission, Spreshn accesses your contacts to help you find friends on the platform. Contact data is used solely for friend-finding and is not stored on our servers or shared with third parties.

Reaction Videos

When you record a reaction, the video is stored according to your privacy settings (see Section 3).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the Spreshn service
• Deliver reaction videos to the intended recipients
• Enable you to find and connect with friends
• Communicate with you about your account or the service

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not currently use any third-party analytics or tracking services.

3. Reaction Privacy Tiers

You control who can see your reactions through privacy settings:

• Private: Only visible to you and the person who sent you the video. Stored on your device and temporarily on our servers for delivery, then removed.
• Mutual Friends: Visible to you, the sender, and mutual friends.
• Public: Visible to anyone. Publicly shared reactions are stored on our servers for as long as the sharing setting remains active.

Reactions can be downloaded by authorized viewers. Once downloaded, the content is outside Spreshn's control and subject to the downloader's own use.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud infrastructure provider. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

Private reactions are stored temporarily on our servers solely for delivery purposes and are removed after delivery is confirmed. Publicly shared reactions are stored for as long as the user maintains the public sharing setting.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@spreshn.com.

6. Third-Party Services

Spreshn uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Cloud database and file storage
• Apple / Google: App distribution via App Store and Google Play

Each third-party service is governed by its own privacy policy.

7. Children's Privacy

Spreshn is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
• Portability: Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Objection: Object to the processing of your personal data

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy in the App or on our website. Your continued use of Spreshn after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
